Which running shoe is better- Brooks Ravenna 2, or Brooks Racer ST 5?
I want a shoe for competitive Cross Country Racing. I own and use Ravenna 2 for training, and I love their tip. I like how it archs a bit higher than average, but I was wondering if the Racer ST 5 have that feature as well. Here are both shoes, which do you think is more suitable?:

I would definitely say the brooks ravenna 2...especially if you are running cross country. The Racer ST 5 is a minimalist shoe and with the heavy mileage from xc, it would not last for very long and it would get worn out quickly. It also doesn't have the same amount of support as the brooks ravenna 2 has and to answer your question - no the Racer doesn't have the same arch height. All in all the Brooks Ravenna 2 is better for xc athletes. I've been training in them all summer and absolutely love them! Hope this helped
